Wilpattu

Sri Lanka’s largest national park, and a wilder, quieter alternative to the more famous Yala. Wilpattu is defined by its willus — natural sand-rimmed lakes — scattered through dense forest, drawing elephants, sloth bears, and leopards to their shores.
