Kashmir Great Lakes Trek

Trek past seven alpine lakes through Kashmir's high meadows on one of the Himalayas' most scenic trekking routes.

Duration 8 Days / 7 Nights
Price From $1,750 per person
Difficulty Challenging
Group Size 6–10 trekkers

One of the most scenic treks in the Himalayas, crossing seven alpine lakes across eight days of high meadows, pine forests, and dramatic passes. The route stays above 3,500 metres for most of its length, with campsites pitched right beside the lakes you’ll spend the day walking toward.

The trail is well-established but genuinely remote once past the first day — you’ll share these meadows with shepherds and their flocks more often than other trekking groups.

“Riding Khardung La was the highlight of my life on two wheels. Tenzin and the team handled everything — permits, altitude, the works — so all we had to do was ride. Genuinely life-changing.”
